A Word From Our President
My name is Tiffney Cullum and I am the current president of GFWC-Woman’s Club of Charleston. I am married and have two adult daughters. My family and I love to spend time together through travel, playing cards, cooking, and doing puzzles.
I have been a member of GFWC-WCC for almost 4 years. My neighbor Jan invited me to attend a meeting with her, and I thoroughly enjoyed the women and lively discussions. I was most impressed with the variety of community service activities that are offered through the club.
My two most favorite opportunities are volunteering my time at Lowcountry Orphan Relief, and our annual Scholarship Card/Game party fundraiser. Lowcountry Orphan Relief provides much needed basic care items for children in the Lowcountry. I have enjoyed helping the staff monthly with sorting donations, packing “care kits” and painting their lobby. Our annual scholarship fundraiser provides scholarships to local high school senior young women in the tri-county area. The fundraiser is a fun way to work with my fellow GFWC-WCC sisters and connect with other ladies in our community.
Whether I am collecting items for Ronald McDonald House, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Mary Ford Early Learning Center or donating my time to these and any of our other philanthropic projects, each event allows me to give back to my community. I find it very rewarding to work side by side with other like minded women. Together we make the world a better place!
